I don't think there's anything wrong with having hope. It would be hard to stay motivated to keep working if you felt like there was no chance the dem could win.

I read something today that brought me a bit of comfort. Basically they were saying that progress keeps happening and moving forward. There are setbacks and things don't always go according to plan, but over time, we keep on making progress, and we will continue to keep making progress.
