I have been worried about my friends taking long flights lately, too. God, it's wild out there. Just lit some candles and hoped for the best! I'm glad Doris got there and back safely.

"Join something" is good advice overall. I never feel like I'm doing enough, but I am out here as a working librarian on various committees trying to do some good, so I guess that counts for something. Also, just trying to be more involved in my local community in some way, whether it's through an activist organization or just making some art together. Getting to know the people leads to everything else.

Oh snap, I didn't realize the new season of Squid Game was out. I gotta catch up on that!
