Ah, things are going well today. The sun's out and we had a high of 50! I worked from home today and actually opened the windows for a few hours. Spring is coming!

And my X-men fic is going along great; I already have 7000 words and two fantastic beta testers.

And Sunday I get to see Les Miserables with Doris and Laurie, and we're eating at my favorite Italian restaurant afterwards.

(Is this the most sugary post you had to read all day or what?)

Is this the high school production of Les Mis you mentioned before? Or a tour?

It's actually a professional production of Les Mis - no high schoolers (even tho the high school production was great).

I am excited to be writing again, and to be so into it. It's been nearly a year since I wrote any fanfic (and 1 year ago, all I wrote was a very short one) and nearly 5 years since I wrote Xmen. It's so nice to have the euphoria back.

Any chance you'll write Misfits again someday or is it highly unlikely? You have great writing talent.

You know, I really would like to write more "MisFic." I think that now that I'm not quite as single-mindedly obsessed with Pizzazz (cosplaying her kinda got that out of my system), I might be able to focus more on the group dynamics. And I'm actually in the process of revising "Soft." Much about that fic dissatisfied me, but it was a first effort, so I'm not beating myself up about it. Thanks for the vote of confidence!

That's really interesting that cosplaying a character helped reduce your obsession with her. I've never tried it myself. I eagerly await the rewrite of Soft and would sure love to see you write more on the Misfits dynamics. There was such an interesting dynamic with that band...so much to probe.
