Various gratitude

- A recipe book had a dish called savory tomato and nectarine cobbler. I was intrigued. I don't usually see savory + nectarine or cobbler + tomato. So I made it, and it was great! (Also, very timely as nectarines are in season and I love them)

- Our Flag Means Death - good enough for a 3rd watch-thru. I love it.

- I helped a woman who needed it, on the bus yesterday

- Funny fangirl note. I've always loved Bobby Drake in X-men, especially as played by Shawn Ashmore in the movies. Shawn has an identical twin brother who's also an actor. Doris and I started watching Locke and Key, and Shawn's twin brother plays the kids' gay uncle. So, uh, I'm finally getting to see gay Bobby Drake on screen. :)

- Various actor stuff!!....

 - Sachin did a Cameo for someone and mentioned he's filing a show. This is good because I think it means he's filming something in addition to the short film he's making this month! I follow the short film's makers on social media, and it sounds like they only film on the weekends, and Sachin's Cameo where he said he's on set filming a show was done mid-week. (And he specifically said it was a show, not a film). So....two projects in progress right now? Yes!

 - And Jarod's IMDB page was just updated with a new movie, which it said it coming out later this year. It's another Christmas movie. (Is the guy friends with the CEO of Hallmark? This is literally his 5th Christmas movie! And what about people who watch these movies?? Do they go, 'You know, he looks really familiar'??). But he's the male lead in this one, and weirdly I've enjoyed watching all the Christmas movies he's in. So I'm happy.

It's so funny being a fangirl. Going on people's Instagrams to look for clues when stuff is filming. Being happy that your actor lands a role in Lion King playing a shitty bad buy with hardly any lines. Getting excited that both Sachin and Jarod have been/will be in short films this year that literally no one will ever see. Ah, the life!
