Okay, so now I will comment on this. Because I remembered to, finally. I'm so bad at fandom. Really. I read this a few times and forgot every time, like a twit.
I liked this. A lot. I liked them being all domestic and sweet with another. It was a nice break from angst, even though it actually ended pretty sadly. Still, they come out alive at the end of the movie and Shaw dies. So nyah. I love it when he's a manipulative bastard though. He was a great villain, wonderful and easy to hate.
ANYWAY, trying to focus. I liked the scenes where they're trying to learn sign language. It's extremely difficult, especially if they're using ASL, because it would be coming from English, and ASL actually follows French grammar rules because it's based on French sign language. Actually, that would be interesting, because for Janos, it would be using English words, but the grammar structure he was used to with Spanish. So maybe it would be easier for him. But poor Russian Azazel would have an awful headache by the end of it.
