Very interesting - thank you for the background on that. I guess I can totally see what you mean too. When I heard there was a character in the X-men world who was, in canon, openly gay - I went out and bought Alpha Flight comics, cheered when he was brought into X-men. And I don't even like the comics that much. But I sought him out.

I can see with all the other pairings and characters who are more focused on, he wouldn't get that much attention.
