Wait, she's not done talking about TV

Other observations about my favorite TV shows:

- I'm really hard on them. For my top 2 favorite shows (plus the current one that I'm just intrigued with, The Outpost), I could list a dozen things about each that I didn't like. Maybe it's a case of familiarity breeds contempt, especially because I've seen each ep so many times. Of course anyone who has seen The 100 or The Outpost or Spartacus would likely agree that there's a lot wrong with them....

-  Also, this next one is hard. Twice I came to love a show slowly, over time, when I gradually came to care about the characters (Agents of SHIELD and The Outpost). That kinda sucks because usually if I’m not into a show after the 2nd or 3rd episode, I stop watching. Spartacus and The 100 I loved right away, so that reinforces my tendency to just chuck it. I stuck with AoS and The Outpost long enough to care about the characters, but I don’t usually do that. I wonder what else I might be missing out on by not giving shows more time to grow on me. I can never figure out at what point do you stop watching a show if you're not hooked.

And -

- The other actor who played a member of my OTP on The 100 landed a gig. He's in 1 episode of season 2 of Another Life. I actually watched S1 of Another Life and liked it so I'm glad he got this gig. Wish it was more than just 1 ep, but an acting job's an acting job.

- The Cameo I ordered from an actor on The Outpost? He did great, and also he went on really long for a Cameo. I might order another!

It was fun seeing who was on Cameo last time I checked it out (which was last xmas) but no one I was excited enough about to get (for me or for my niece). I'm sure there are lots more now! Do you think there's a negative connotation to being on cameo? I mean, obviously bigger stars are able to command bigger prices, but do you think among actors it's seen as something negative? I mean, to me it doesn't seem all that different from interacting with fans at cons, lots of people pay good money for meet and greets. I guess maybe it's because there's all these like popular social media people (and yes, I guess that means I'm just old). I don't know.

I imagine theres some requirements like you have to be willing to do it within x amount of time and all that stuff. Hell, maybe he just doesn't want to deal with the same rude 100 fans who bullied him out of the con. Very curious to know more about how people think about it in the industry.
