Here’s a Firefly-favorite-characters poll. Because it's been a while since I've posted on the topic of Firefly, and I came up with this idea during a boring meeting at work today.

Um, nothing. The main reason I wanted to do this was because I remembered that in the last "favorite FF character" poll posted on fireflyfans, Zoe placed near the bottom. I wondered if the results might look different if I split out the characters by sex.

Of course most everyone seeing this poll will be on my f-list, and my f-list contains lots of Zoe/Wash fans. So I recognize that this poll is not exactly scientifically valid.

But I was bored. :)

This is the best I've got so far. He only does really angry in OoG, in terrible low light conditions - sooo inconvenient.

I may have to settle for "extremely pissy" - War Stories was better lit!

The cap is from this site (http://www.leavemethewhite.com/firefly/thumbnails.php?album=8&page=9). Middle of the second to last row. I futzed around with it a bit, so it ended up rather cartoony.

The games with light in OOG are pretty, though. I might even try capping it myself.

Or I could admit that I don't actually need a "rage" icon... that would work, too.

The site that most people use for caps is still-flying.net (http://still-flying.net/) - and I think there might be a few others too.

Fans are so generous with their time (and bandwidth).

I guess you do have to keep in mind who the likely respondents of this poll have been. My f-list is abundant with Zoe/Wash fans, sooo....:-)

I find it interesting that 4 people picked Kaylee is their favorite female character, but no one selected Inara or River. I mean I knew Zoe would win that section because of the number of Z/W fans on here. But I was still surprised that Inara and River didn't garner even a single vote.
