Does colder weather = more vivid dreams?

The weather here has turned much cooler during the last week or so and I've noticed that my dreams are way more vivid and memorable. I wake up and the sheets are in much more disarray. Has anyone else noticed a correlation between cooler weather and intense dreams?

It may be something to do with how deeply you sleep in cooler weather. I feel like I dream more when it's cooler, but that's because I sleep really badly when it's too hot (so when I do sleep, I'm in comatose sleep).

So, perhaps you're sleeping better and getting in more "dream time", or, conversely, you're sleeping more lightly and waking up more frequently so that you actually remember your dreams. :-)

Ah, that makes sense!

Ooo. I've never seen any studies on the subject, but I know I've been having more vivid dreams since the weather cooled down here, too. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that most people sleep more soundly when the weather is cool?

si when it's cooler i do seem to dream more vividly. but when it's warmer I'm more relaxed all around. I get tense when the weather cools.
