I think I just had Christmas in October. My friend nytshd3 knew I was a little sad because of events from this past week. After meeting her and Laurie for lunch, nytshd3 came back to the house with us. She'd said she had a surprise.

You know the store Lush? Obscenely gorgeous, fragrant, so-tempting-you-wish-you-could-eat-them bath, body, and hair products? She had bid on and won a HUGE basket full of them at a fundraiser. She told me and Doris to pick out whatever we wanted from the basket, adding that baths aren't her thing so we may as well take all the bath bombs and bath melts.

Numerous bath bombs, bath melts, lotions, shower jells, and massage bars later, all I can say is WOW. And thank you, nytshd3. You didn't have to do that as a pick-me-up and the lunch with you and Laurie was awesome by itself. But wow. Thank you.

I bet. I don't use many bath products but I did just get a new kind of soap that is made with goat's milk and it is heavenly. I have sensitive skin so I am kinda limited about what I can use.

I actually don't object to baths, but my tub is SO COLD and it's not really comfortable for baths (even if i fill it with hot water), so i never take baths at home. if i lived somewhere else, i might totally be a bath queen :)

Why is your tub more cold than any other tub? The lustron thing?

it's on an outside wall and i dont think theres much insulation between it and the wall. i dunno, it just seems really really cold.

also, i almost never bathe at home since i go to the Y just about every day
