Gratitude

 I will be grateful for all the good things that happened on my business trip this week:

1. Netflix worked in my hotel room so I was able to stream some stuff. This is shocking because I only brought my work computer and it's crazy slow, and I didn't pay extra at the hotel for faster wifi. Yet it all worked!

2. Food while traveling is always a challenge but JFK airport had an amazing salad bar full of stuff I love (bean salads, middle eastern foods, etc).

3. And a guy at the hotel gym was very nice to me. And my cat was super-affectionate when I got home.

Yay that you were able to stream something at the hotel! It's nice to be able to do that.

Also yay for good food at the airport! I suppose if any airport is going to have good food, it's NY. Wasn't there also a dentist at the NY airport? I remember reading an interesting story about him.

I'm sure your kitty missed you, and was super glad you did not return with another cat.

I know you'd think that NY airports would have great food, but LaGuardia doesn't. LaGuardia looks like a train station from the 1950s and its restaurant choices are about the same. So I'm very glad that JFK was way better. (Despite all my many trips to NYC, this was actually my first time flying in/out of JKF).

I miss you! On my list of wants is "more Scrabble/tea dates with Ann". But hey, lunch next week with Marg that'll be cool!
