1. I watched the first episode of The Orville and I really liked it.

2. Doris has a 3 day weekend starting when she's off work soon! 

3. Doris had ordered some last minute gifts (she only does last minute, especially when it comes to gifts) for her parents from Zappos. We were worried because unfortunately there's been lots of robberies of packages left on porches in our neighborhood. But thanks to my awesome boss letting me work from home, I was right there when the truck dropped the packages off.

Oh no, I didn't know packages were going missing in your neighborhood :( What a drag. But hooray that you were home for the delivery! And very nice that Doris has three days off too.

Amen! And this weekend she also gets another 3 day weekend, which is good. We were talking about finances, and she just doesn't have money to take any sort of 'real' vacation next year. So it'll be mostly 3- and 4-day weekends for us.

Did she end up firing the one lady yet?

She said that she used to bring in more money when she had an associate, so hopefully hiring one will help her.

No, she hasn't fired her. She's turned it into something of a joke. (Like 'day 12, haven't fired Aleli yet...')
