1. The cat actually plays with a toy I bought her. (A tunnel). That's a first!

2. Had some spare time yesterday so I did some de-cluttering. Given how much I love doing it, it's odd that i don't do it more often. On the other hand, there's not much clutter in the house to begin with

3. At work today we get to go home early since it's annual employee appreciation day!

Interesting that the cat isn't big on toys. Does she play with them a little and then ignore them, or just ignore them the whole time? What if there's catnip, does she get excited about that?

The birthday balloon I had was still floating around for a long time (actually, still floating around now lol) and Smokey LOVED playing with it, which was funny. So we got him another balloon and tied some catnip toys to them, and though he played with it like crazy for a day or so, then he just ignored it. Cats, man.

They're just so finnicky about what they play with. She usually doesn't touch anything I buy for her. She's still using the tunnel though!
