3 Things

1. Someone posted on Tumblr praise on a few of my fanfics. It's been a while, and it feels so nice!

2. Had a 1 night trip to Atlanta this week. A graduate of one of our programs was there. We made her day! She sent the sweetest email. It was awesome.

3. I'm a bit tired though, and I'm so glad that tomorrow is Friday, I'm working from home, and then 3 day weekend!!

4. Also I've learned to apply foundation and I think it looks good

5. Still mildly shipping "Steggy" (Steve Rogers/Peggy Cater)

1. Why it's Steggy when it could be "Peeve"? :D
2. Yay, Friday!

1. Aww, that's great! Always lovely to hear positive feedback!

4. Oh, do please share if you don't mind. I still struggle with this and it's only partly because I'm extra-pale and I have to mix it with my vampire makeup for it to match. I've watched many tutorials, but it's still kind of hit and miss.

Ah, okay. I dunno why I keep wanting it to be easier than just, "Keep trying". Must be the Slytherin in me. "Brilliant but Lazy" isn't a trope often associated with Slytherins, but it easily could be.

Congrats on the foundation success! I always have a terrible time finding a color that's a good match. The times I've had a "professional" do it, I always end up orange! Even when I say "Last time I had this done, I looked orange, I don't want to look orange." I just don't have the patience. I pretty much just do my eyes and roll out. Though the other night I went to my niece's lemonade stand and bought a cup, and my niece came trotting up to me and told me her friend asked her if I have a beard, and I could probably cover up my facial hair a bit better with some foundation. But, again, too lazy.

You would think! I suspect it's because most people would rather look more "tan" - but on me it just looks orange. Once me and my mom went to MAC a month or so before Tony got married and got our makeup done, thinking that either we'd get some good product we could use or that, if we were super impressed, we could ask if they would do our makeup on the day of. We both looked so terrible that when we got to the car, we just looked at each other and started laughing. I wish we had taken pictures. They put sparkles on mom's wrinkles, which drew attention to them and made them incredibly obvious. My colors were all wrong. Like, if I just thought mine was bad that would be one thing, but the fact that both of us found our makeup laughable was kinda funny in retrospect. The people working on us kept saying they hoped we were going to go out or do something fun to show off our makeup and we were both thinking 'yeah, we're gonna go home and wash our faces first'.

I'm so done with the facial hair thing. I hate that even right after I shave, you can easily see the hair under the surface. Like, can you give me a little time where it's not wildly obvious? Sheesh.
