1. It's been announced that the next season of Agents of SHIELD (season 7) will be the last. It's sad, but most fans saw this coming. Plus this is the show that has struggled to get renewed each season since season 2. So we'll get 13 more episodes, and the writers have said they are going to end it on their terms. I hope they bring it to a satisfying conclusion and a reasonably happy one for the characters. 

2. Here's one from work. I was asked to facilitate the quarterly webcast that our LGBT employee network has. It was a full day commitment; we start with rehearsals 5 hours before the webcast starts. It went really well; I got a lot of pats on the back. I even went to the reception afterwards and that was fun. Someone brought me a glass of wine.

3. It's good getting to work from home during this heat wave, and it's supposed to end tomorrow

It's sad but 7 seasons is pretty respectable! Also really nice that they're going to be able to wrap up the way they wanted.

Awesome about the webcast! What did you do on it?

We have our work event in a couple weeks at the zoo and I am hoping that it won't be so damn hot when the day comes.

I agree, we are lucky to get 7 seasons. And most of their seasons were long, like 22 episodes. (No short Netflix-series seasons, where shows like OITNB get only like 10 episodes a pop!)

For the webcast, basically I facilitated it. Introduced the speakers, kept it moving along.
