It usually is! I did look up all my elected officials now that I'm in a new city, so I can contact them for whatever. Oh, and one of the errands I got done this week was going to DMV to get my address updated on my license, so yay! I'm in the database, and none of my previous voting locations have given me a hard time about the address not matching, but just in case. (I don't want to miss this election!)
I figured! I will say Louis/Lestat is endgame in the books, so that doesn't surprise me that much. BUT all the VC vampires are polyamorous and omnisexual, just generally, so it kinda doesn't matter. They might get back together, on and off, for decades. Technically, I am not yet "caught up" on the episode where Armand is revealed, but . . . I know who it is. I clocked him three episodes in, just based on what I know about his character from the books. It's a fascinating series to watch as a lifelong Anne Rice fan, because there's a lot they've changed, but they changed it in such a way that it still tracks a lot of the major plot beats. It's a great way to handle an adaptation. (But seriously, I am anxious to meet Nicky.)
