1. Friends: Who's your closest friend and what is s/he like?
My closest friend is nytshd3. She is caring, listening, solid, strong, mysterious, and reliable.
2. Sex: If you know any languages other than English, how do you say "have an orgasm" in that language? What do you think that says, if anything, about their culture? If you DO NOT know a language other than english (or heck just answer both if you want) have you ever had sex with someone you didn't like?
I studied Russian but never learned enough to answer the first part of your question. So....the answer to the second part is no. At least, I never had sex with anyone I didn't like at the time. Many years after we broke up, my first girlfriend, Katrina, looked me up. We got together for coffee and I realized that I didn't like her at all. But at the time we were a couple, I liked her. Usually.
3. Music: Is there a song or band or album that really takes you back to a particular time and place? Which/when?
Hmmmm....You know, the other day I was listening to a tribute CD to the Cars. Listening to the Cars' old songs brought me back to high school and made me feel uncomfortable and just...down.
4. Drugs: do you think some drugs should be legalized? Or all? Why or why not?
This is one issue where I should honestly say that I haven't studied the different sides/different arguments well enough to form an opinion. Pretty shocking as I have opinions on most every other political/social issue. But I need to learn more to form an opinion on this.
5. Love: Do you have any brothers or sisters? what are they like?
I have one sister. She's great! We get along well and like each other. She lives 3 hours away and we only see each other a handful of times a year though.
6. Livejournal: what would you like to see MORE of on your flist--a certain kind of fic, more of a certain fandom/pairing/meta/other?
More Firefly in general! More discussions of characters, plots, themes, etc in Firefly. I do enjoy hearing of my f-lists' personal lives - just wish they'd toss in more FF too.
