I kinda feel that this is one of my sekrit unpopular fandom opinions, since a lot of people who I respect write River pairings. But I get hung up on consent issues. Not because her age, but because of her very frail mental health, and that she's an uncontrolled telepath, with few or no boundaries. I just have difficulty imaging her as being capable of anything other than very dubious consent, at best.
