Thanks for the hug. Computer problems - combined with crappy customer service - are so tough for those of us who lack computer skills.
I like your idea of threatening to call Small Claims, but I worry that it might not work. I work for a huge company, a bit bigger than Best Buy. People threaten to sue us all the time. We have a huge legal department and we don't think much of one individual who'd threaten to sue over $159. My legal fees would be far greater than $159 anyway, they know that, so they wouldn't take it seriously. I hate to sound defeatist but I truly believe this is the way it is. I guess it's karma coming back to bite me in the butt. :) (For the fact that I work for a huge corporation too).
