I thought I'd give it a try...

There's this Firefly community called big_damn_quests. The way it works is that you pick a character, and respond as that character to a weekly question which is posted to the group. I've been reading this community for a while, enjoying seeing the drabbles that people come up with and how they respond to the always-interesting questions.

I'd never signed up before because I didn't have that much experience with prompts. But I realized that last year I successfully took part more than one Jem ficathon, so I decided to give this a try.

You get to specify which character you'd like to sign up as. I wanted to "be" Zoe or Kaylee, but they were both already taken, so I picked at random and came up with Book. If I like this, next month I'll pick someone else.

I'm kinda looking forward to this.
