New Firefly fic: "Water Wash Indulgence"

I have a Firefly fic to share! I wrote it a year ago and never posted it anywhere. It was beta tested, and my beta wisely suggested a number of revisions. Well, I am forced to admit that I got really lazy and never actually made the revisions – so I just let this fic sit. I still don’t think I’ll ever revise it, but I thought that perhaps one or two people on my f-list might want to read this brief story, despite the fact that it is in need of some work. Also, my friend sarahetc just had major surgery and is a big Zoe/Wash fan, so perhaps this story might cheer her up a bit.

This fic was originally written for a challenge on big_damn_quests, which directed participants to describe whether their assigned character had any “guilty pleasures”. This was to be Zoe’s answer. big_damn_quests is now fallow but it used to be an active group where you would “be” a FF character for a month and write out their answers to several questions you were given.
