Question for everyone on my f-list:

What’s your dream job? If money/health insurance/retirement savings/anything else were not concerns, what would you do?

Here’s my list -

-- College professor teaching either Political Science or History (would need to go back to school in order to get qualified for the latter)

-- Diversity trainer for corporations, academia, other institutions

-- Librarian

-- Clerk at a small book store

-- Work (doing anything except lots of travel!) for a not-for-profit working to alleviate poverty or animal abuse or oppression or environmental destruction – you get the idea

-- A job I could do from home on my computer with totally flexible hours (vague much??)

-- Part of me also wants to be a singer in a Broadway musical but my voice sucks, I heard they work 6-7 days a week, and I know it ain’t as much fun as us commoners think it is. But if I could do it, I’d like to sing either Eponine or Javert’s role in Les Mis or Joe in Sunset Blvd or – I think – Flora in Chess.

-- I might also add "get paid to write fanfic" but the well has run dry on that front for me
