I am way too happy about this....
Oct. 16th, 2007 08:15 pmThis is probably my most trivial post in a long time but I'll do it anyway, against my better judgment.
Someone paid me a compliment at work today, and I am really way too happy about it. Especially given that I just did a post about how we can't let the opinions of others define our happiness. But anyway -- my gay coworker Tim (not to be confused with a different, mean coworker named Tim who I posted on a while ago) pulled me aside today and said he was talking about me with another gay coworker Jesse. He said that Jesse described me as "a looker" and that Tim agreed and added that I had "porcelain" skin.
Gay guys find me good-looking!! Yes! I told Tim that I consider that to be a compliment of the highest order since I believe gay men have very high standards when it comes to beauty. I know, I know...I desperately need to get a life. But I can't help but to smile over this.
(Unless...what if Tim and Jesse think I look like a guy and that's why they think I'm a looker? Uh oh. Never mind then).
