I bitch about driving on snow and freezing cold wind chills in the winter, and icky wet humidity in the summer. But I like the 4 seasons. I tend to feel a sense of excitement and happiness when the seasons turn. Each time they turn, they bring back good memories.
But having said that, I wouldn't mind living in a more temperate climate. I could walk or ride my bike more often. There might be a year-round farmers' market. There'd be a lot of advantages to a temperate climate, but I still think I'd choose to stay where I am and experience all 4 reasons.
