Good news of the day

I often grumble about business trips. They cut into my weekends, I can rarely find food I like, and it's not like you ever get to sight-see or enjoy the city. But I got a scrap of good news today. I was going to leave on Sunday for a business trip, but I just learned that I don't need to head out till Monday. Yay!! More time at home with Doris.

Of course this still leaves me in a bad place for Drag Race. The new episode will be available online around 3am local time on Tuesday, and I need to pray that my rickety old work laptop will be able to stream the episode.

Nor does it explain why this event is so poorly organized that I didn't find out till today when exactly it starts.

But hey, I will take the good news. I get my Sunday back!!
