Non-Drag Race Update
Jun. 12th, 2013 05:55 pmI am determined to do a non-Drag Race update since it's been over a week.
- Work: We are interviewing for the Coordinator role. The role has been a temp position but we received headcount to make it a full time roll. I love the temp who is doing the job now, D, and she's one of 6 who we're interviewing. She had her first interview today and she did great! I coached her beforehand. I hope she makes it. I do not get the decide on who they will select, but I hope it's her. She really wants and needs a regular, full time role with the company.
- We took our BFF to dinner on Saturday to congratulate her on getting a Project Management certification. That was fun! Congrats, Ann!
- Our other BFF Laurie I spoke with on the weekend. She said she was doing a movie marathon on Sunday. I liked the idea. I permit myself to watch a couple episodes of Drag Race on the weekend, but maybe one weekend I say to myself no Drag Race and instead marathon some movies.
- But it won't be this weekend. Saturday we have fun plans with the BFFs and Sunday is of course father's day.
- Work: my new boss is still nice. I flew to Raleigh this week to oversee a new instructor, who I'd hired. Had a bit of nerves on that but she was great!
- That's pretty much it. We are supposed to get bad, bad weather here with mega-storms. I hope all will be ok and my power won't go out.
