I had my mid-year review today and it was great! It was fantastic!! My new boss loves me!!! She said when leadership was discussing me, they were full of praise!
And yes, we joked about my being told by leadership to socialize more. We basically shrugged and said, well they want us to play the game then we will. So I was right....that was the only 'bad' thing that came up about me!
And yay, my Sharon and Alaska article on BuzzSauce has gotten circulated a bit. It's been making the rounds on the fan pages on Tumblr and FB. It's been 'liked' just 32 times and tweeted just 3 times (once was mine), which means it is hardly burning up the internet but it does mean some people have read it. I got great feedback on it on Alaska's page on FB, and there are 42 notes on it on Tumblr. A few folks on the Drag Race subreddit commented that they liked it. ("It gave me the feels" one said). I am good with it.
I messaged Sharon Needles on FB yesterday and gave him the link to the article, but no reply. But, hey, Sharon doesn't "owe" me anything - he's already messaged me twice on FB, 'liked' the picture of him and Alaska that I posted 2 weeks ago (from when I met them), and reblogged a different photo of them that I had posted to a fan page. That's an awesome amount of interaction and I'm happy. Also, Alaska's mom thanked me for all the posts I do on Alaska's FB page and said she loves them. So yay!!!
