I ordered two Sharon Needles T-shirts. Today I got a package in the mail. It contained the 2 shirts I ordered, plus a third one, plus a swag bag of Sharon Needles goodies: Sharon's CD, a magnet, postcards, bumperstickers, an 8 X 10, and a RuPaul tote bag. It was so lovely! Maybe the extra goodies were partly a thank you for the gifts I sent them.
Am also squeeing because Alaska and Sharon had a gig last week and they - for the second time - did their cover of I Got You Babe. I know the song is silly and campy as hell, and they know it too, but I love the hand-holding they do at the end and I think that despite the song's schlocky-ness, they are acknowledging that much of the lyrics do apply to them.
