3 Things

 
As usual, way too many things to be thankful for. A brief list!

- NY trip was awesome! Alaska's mom Pam, Eric, and I sat at a table with Alaska's boyfriend Gabe and another queen (Courtney Act)

- I feel like I got to talk more with and make more of a connection with Gabe

- After the show, this guy Robert invites us to his place for appetizers and drinks. He's a friend of Alaska's and his place is just 2 blocks away. The party was really nice! Alaska and Gabe showed up, Alaska's friend Jeremy was there too. Then there were Pam, Eric, and me and like 8 other gay guys in their 20's and 30's. I was worried Pam and I would feel out of place (middle aged women) but everyone was super-nice, super-easy to talk to. Around 11:30pm Pam asked if we could go....I honestly was having so much fun I could've stayed later. I'm usually the first one to want to leave the party!

- Alaska as always was nice. He complimented me on my red dressy jacket

- And our travels were smooth and easy (well, other than the guy sitting in-between me and Eric who hogged arm-rests and space and the fact that our hotel room was super-small and bereft of any amenities). But all went well, we got on an earlier fight home

- And I came home to my loving spouse and our friend Chris is here finishing up our bathroom work
