My gratitude today will be for the day off I had yesterday. I went to the gym and did an extra-long workout. I went to the local resale store (which benefits an LGBT group, Howard Brown) and dropped off a few items I'd accumulated. I saw a necklace from Chico's with the $55 tag still attached, which they sold for $10 and I bought it. (I love it!) Went to the library. Also went to a few of the Little Free Libraries that we have, which I love. Watched two movies - one wasn't good and I didn't finish it, but the other was "Dolores" about labor organizer Dolores Huerta and it was awesome. I also watched the first 3 comedians in Netflix's latest comedy special, and I LOLed many times. I got a massage and then had dinner at one of the two vegetarian restaurants in town. They had a special that day, veggie gyros - I've had it there once before and it was so good! I read a lot and did some work work too (but not much). Meditated as I try to do every day and played with the cat.
A very nice day off. I had wanted to go into Chicago and visit the Andersonville neighborhood but it was 38 degrees with a cold wind - quite a bit colder than I would've expected this time of year - so I came up with other plans.
