3 Things

 
1. We're here in Wisconsin Dells; we got in last night. Our condo has a jacuzzi which we used yesterday. It was supposed to rain today but actually is beautiful. We're not going to be able to make the trip to Spook Cave though. It's 2 hours away, and too many roads between here and there are flooded. We set out but kept getting deterred. So what have we done besides use the jacuzzi and not go to the cave? We went to a free zoo, went to an old time pioneer village, went to the new location of The Cheeze Factory (the vegan restaurant in the area - the food there is better than ever), bought a few groceries so we can cook, and walked around downtown Baraboo. It's been fun. We leave the day after tomorrow.

2. Our condo is right on the lake, so as I write this I'm looking out the window and door at the sun hitting the water and people kayaking on it. It's nice. (I joked to Doris that this is like being on a cruise when your cabin has a window or balcony). We had a long day doing all of the above so we're just chilling at the condo now.

3. I just finished writing my fanfic, with the exception of the Epilogue. It's 35,000+ words (EDITED - I previously wrote 'pages', ooops) and I'm happy with it.  I also posted another chapter today.
