3 Things

 
1. No spoilers, but Friday's episode of Agents of SHIELD was one of the best ever. And it was hilarious. It's a long time since any episode of SHIELD can be described as hilarious!

2. Doris and I had a lovely Saturday/early Sunday (the Saturday was only her 2nd Saturday off since the new year). The morning was slow; we hit the farmers market and she planted some of the plants she bought. Then we went on our surprise 1-night trip to the Peninsula. (An awesome - but extremely expensive - hotel). The customer service at the place was like being on a high-end cruise. The fitness center was on the 20th floor, so you look out onto the beautiful city as you work out. The food was incredible (we had afternoon tea there Saturday and breakfast today). After the afternoon tea, we walked to Chicago's Riverwalk. Then we happened to see a plant-based restaurant we'd been wanting to try (Althea). It was so good, and the prices were reasonable. (Unlike at the Peninsula. I don't even want to see my next credit card statement). Then we went back to the hotel and used the big bathtub and then watched Drag Race on my computer. 

That's enough so I'll end it there. Doris is in the garden now planting more plants. I'm so glad Doris actually is getting 3 days in a row off work!
