3 Things

 
I think I need to go back to doing 3 Things. Because I just can't come up with enough content to write like a regular update. Truly everything in my life is pretty steady.

So - random 3 things here we go

1. Doris has Saturday (today) and Sunday off. It's sunny and decent out with lots of pretty fall leaves. We didn't do anything fun so far today (Saturday afternoon) but we went grocery shopping together which is always nice. She's working on finishing the basement floor right now. (That should probably be a separate item. She put in a new basement floor and it's so much easier for me to workout on).

2. This next one is First World Privilege but let's face it, my whole life is one big privilege compared to most people. I had a nice surprise on Uber Eats yesterday. I was just checking out what's showing as available and seriously five restaurants that I've been wanting to go to were on yesterday...none of which had ever been on before. I know why they are on now. COVID has shut down indoor dining here, so I imagine these restaurants have to expand their delivery base in order to survive. Which sucks. But I figure I'm employed and I love to eat, so I ordered from 2 of them. I picked the Black-owned Majani and Urban Vegan. Loved all of it so far. I will order again as soon as reasonable, from one of the other new additions to Uber Eats. (And yes, I know. Most Americans can barely get by and here I go writing about ordering delivery. I keep that in mind every time I canvas or lit drop or textbank....reminding myself that I am fighting to get better elected officials so we can close this insane gap in this country. I also do always tip a lot).

3. What else? Fanfic writing is going well. I think I got like 3 comments in the past 6-7 days or so, which is good (for me). Someone joked on Twitter that there are 5 Mackson stans (stans of my OTP) on Tumblr and we feed each other new content like every day, so that's going well.
