Maybe if I do a post about the stuff that's bothering me.

1. There's a conference in Orlando in November that I'm signed up to present at. I emailed the organizers, and they replied today....they don't plan to change the conference to virtual. Wtf. So next week when my boss is back from vacation, I'm gonna need to have a conversation with her. I don't look forward to it. She is a normally sane, reasonable person - but she's not when it comes to COVID. She's never been anywhere near as cautious over it as I am. But I will have to be firm. (Texting with my mom about it, and she's like 'I forbid you to go to Florida, I will write your boss a note.')

2. Arrrg this goddamn The 100 convention. Two weeks now since they emailed me saying they'll refund my money. Nothing. So I did send them a polite email this morning, and no reply from them yet. I guess another reminder that I'm glad that I'm not going to this fiasco. It's funny....I had written off the money as gone - until they emailed me saying they were going to refund the money. So then my hopes got all up. I started thinking of where I'd donate the money to. (I also plan or planned to keep some of it for myself and buy something 'nice' but I don't know what yet). 

That's it? Just two items? Well, there's also the fact that the weather sucks and climate change is here and Republicans are complete assholes and I want to see the actors I like in new, good roles. So there's all of that too.
