Gratitude stuff
Dec. 23rd, 2021 03:15 pmI mentioned a while ago that I moved my daily gratitude to Twitter. I'm going to list some items from the past few days here, and some that I haven't tweeted yet.
- Finding an old pair of leggings that is not itchy
- The book "White Houses" by Amy Bloom
- Doris baking a lot of bread, and saying this morning how much she loves doing it
- Chris fixing our heat
- Scrabble and X-mas exchange with Ann
- Saturday with Pam and Eric, including hanging out downtown at my favorite restaurant and at the indie bookstore
- The soundtrack to The Outpost online. It's so good, and I often just have it on in the background
- Also, writing fanfic and burning a candle while listening to the Outpost soundtrack
- The company sent an email saying we should work from home at least through Jan 15
- Started watching Inside Job and LaBrea, and both are good so far
- My massage therapist gave Doris and me this lovely sculpture, saying it reminded her of us as a couple and how warm and loving we are
- Getting a pan of lasagna from my favorite Black-owned vegan restaurant. (It's in the freezer now, to be brought to Mom's on X-mas)
- Re-reading the book "Heartmath" about how to deal with stress, and I feel its technique is better than meditation
- Although neither grocery store I visited had udon noodles, I made the dish anyway and it was awesome. Also? I accidentally left the gas on, didn't realize it till hours later, and thank goddess did not burn the house down
- And Christmas movies. Which I never liked before. But a gay one - Single All the Way - dropped on Netflix, so I watched it. Then I decided to watch 2 Christmas movies that Jarod Joseph was in. He played Miller in The 100, and he's the male lead in 2 Christmas movies. I kind of liked them?
