The usual gratitude list

 
- Met with Ann on Saturday. Wedding planning!! I am so excited!! We're going to have so much fun!! 6 months away now

- Easter with the parents was actually fun and my lasagna was a hit. Mom even texted my sister to say how much she loved it. Mom was also her usual hilariously sarcastic self; she got off some really good quips. (My favorite was during the salad course. Dad: "You're eating too much!" Mom: "You just ate three pieces of bread; don't tell me I'm eating too much lettuce!")

- Re-reading the book Positivity by Barbara Fredrickson, and I'm so glad I bought it. It is really good to just pull out and remind myself of parts of it

- Brussel sprouts in the air fryer. Are awesome!

- One of my fandom friends has a birthday in 2 days. Sometimes we write each other fics or get each other Cameos for our birthdays; once I went through a few of her fics and left new, long comments which she loved. (Though, yes I am going to mention it - she didn't do anything for me for Xmas. Which is actually fine. I was sincerely happy how much she loved the Cameo I got her. And I would rather keep the gifts feeling optional instead of forced, so I'm glad she didn't feel obliged to get me anything). But yesterday she and I were chatting and it led to a plot bunny and....she will have a 2,100 fic as a gift! Plus it's in The 100, and it was nice to write in that fandom again.

- I got a nice compliment from one of our vendor/partners, regarding me at the convention. They said I was the "responsible adult" in the group, and I do believe they were sincere. 

- Someone posted on FB looking for kids and teen books for a nonprofit. I knew the Little Free Libraries (LFLs) near me have been full to bursting lately. So I walked around to about 6-7 of them today and took 3-4 books from each, so I have plenty to donate. (And rest assured, each of the LFLs still had tons of books left even when I took 4. Some of them were so full you could barely close the door or move anything around),
