First, some milestones

- The B-52's announced their final tour. From 1989 to circa 1993 I was an obsessed fangirl over them. I never got back into them (of course they haven't been that active since 1993, other than touring and releasing 1 new album) but still. A milestone. Can't blame them for retiring; their eldest member is about 72 and youngest about 63. Trying to remember the last time I saw them. I know I went to see them twice with Doris, both times were fairly soon after she and I got together, so I'm guessing I last saw them perform about 17 or 18 years ago. They always have a place in my heart; there really never has been any band like them.

- Also this year marks 15 years since my first boss (and my friend) Michelle died. She'd be 64 if she was still alive today. I still think of her often.

- I'm kinda pissed that Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman were both cancelled, while Flash gets another season. I abandoned Flash about 3 seasons ago; it got so boring. I never got into Batwoman though I tried. But Legends was fantastic, and both it and Batwoman had a queer female lead. And of course Flash, with its cishet white male lead is the one that gets renewed. (I hasten to add that yes, I like Barry Allen, but that's not the point)

Now some gratitude

- Donated blood again last week. The Red Cross staffers seemed to like the gifts I got them.

- Call the Midwife is really good.

- So is Heartstopper. Sadly there are only 8 episodes, and Doris and I binged them all on Saturday!

- Doris had Saturday off - always something to appreciate!

- In the past 2 days, I've gotten 6 comments on 2 fanfics.

- I did win $12 on Lotto this week, but I freely admit that I spend about $12 on Lotto each month so....
