More gratitude. No 'daring' stuff this week

 
- Really loving Interview with a Vampire. And I am shipping the hell out of one couple, and it is NOT LouiStat. I don't think they'll get a happy ever after so I am trying to keep my hopes down.

- I mentioned my German fandom friend who was here and the fun Saturday we had together. She and I got together one last time - Monday morning - for coffee, before she had to leave. We really hit it off again. And I am glad to have a flexible work schedule that allowed me a late start on Monday

- Doris and I cleaned clothes out of our closets. And our city has a service that just picks them up for recycling! They came right when they said they would

- Enjoying a Saturday that Doris has off. I went to the farmer's market and got compliments on my dress. (A Svaha dress). Doris and I went to the Asian place I love (White Crane). Then we went to Goodwill and I was blown away - the dresses were awesome, truly they were. I bought two. Then we went to a gardening shop. And then we found a way to both support the local comedy club AND have a night in. We bought tickets for the show but have zero intention of going

- I got a payout from a class action against Instagram. At first I had trouble accepting it in Venmo but....Venmo customer service replied within 24 hours and the $34 is in my account now! (I am so happy that I don't have to call them!) 

- I've mentioned a waterpark that I like going to. Tuesday I had the combo of good weather and no meetings, so I took a half day off and went! I am glad I went but....didn't love it. Cicadas everywhere. Owners of the park, please hire some folks with nets to fish the damn bugs out of the pools! I don't think I'll be back there this season.
