Random gratitude

 
- Scrabble date last weekend plus vegan soft serve!

- Ann has been going to Postcards for Swing States! And we met there yesterday evening when they had a rare evening shift available. And the group's lead asked me if there was anyone in Oak Park I hadn't told about Postcards. :)

- Game night last Saturday.

- And hanging with mom on Sunday. We had great weather and walked around downtown OP. She said she'd really like to move here. (Also - I am glad she still does Fetch and she likes it. I got her on it but I didn't care for it and deleted it. She's having fun with it)

- All I can say is Kamala, Tim, and things looking so much better than they had a few weeks ago

- I had a 2-night work trip last week. It was my first time on a plane for work since November. It all went really, really well. Like no issues at all. Hotel was nice, the event was great, people were wonderful, I slept well, I got to swim during my free afternoon, both flights were on time. (And it still blows my mind that I can wake up in a hotel in California and then 7 hours later walk through my front door in Illinois)

- Just thinking back to Anime Pasadena 2022. All of it was great but extra grateful that my return flight was on time, since I'd been starting to feel sick by then.
