I’ve been wanting to post an updated round-up of all of my X-men fanfic, and at last here it is. Behind the cut.

I will categorize the fic this way:

1. Fanfic centered around X-men: First Class (movie)

2. Fanfic centered around X-men: The Animated Series (animated series from the 1990’s)

Each fic below is complete. I have never posted something that I didn’t finish.

X-MEN FIRST CLASS:

All my fic, so far, in this category centers around the Azazel/Riptide pairing. They range from about 1,100 – 6,400 words each. The fics are listed from most recent to oldest.

Henchmen, PG-13 - Now that Shaw is gone, his former henchmen Azazel and Riptide work for Erik. Can they adjust to a different leader, especially one who feels strong emotions and painful memories every time he observes the two of them together? Azazel/Riptide, with references to past Cherik.

Retreat, PG-13 - Azazel and Riptide flee from Shaw and try to live a cozy life away from the Hellfire Club.

Hestia, R - Azazel and Riptide retire from the Brotherhood, with Magneto’s blessing. This multi-chaptered story chronicles their life together on their houseboat over a period of ten years. We will see a wedding, a birth, the relationship getting into trouble and getting out of it, and more. Angel, Mystique, Magneto and others will make appearances.

Two Halves, R - Angel Salvadore observes that Riptide and Azazel have been a couple for over a decade. She asks Riptide to tell her how they first got together in the conservative 1950’s.

Seven Days, PG-13 - Upset at the fact that his henchmen have fallen in love, Shaw sends Azazel and Riptide to a remote cabin for seven days in the hopes that they will get sick of each other.

Untrained, PG-13 - Riptide is new to the Hellfire Club and is making a lot of mistakes. Can Azazel help him and keep him from Shaw's wrath?

A Business Transaction, R – Shaw sends Riptide on an unusual mission, which could cause trouble between him and Azazel. It could also lead to a breakthrough between them.

Crystal Ball, R – After Azazel is injured on a mission, he and Riptide ponder their future.

Act Nine: The Kingdom, R – The sequel to “Riptide in Eight Acts” (below), since I wanted to write what life would be like now that Shaw is dead and Magneto is the leader. I also wanted to write my take on how Nightcrawler came into existence. I also wrote an expansion of Act Seven of "Riptide in Eight Acts", Soft and Hard.

Hidden Gifts, PG-13 – Two moments in the life that Azazel and Riptide have made together.

Priceless, PG-13 - Azazel and Riptide met each other before they joined the Hellfire Club - here is their story.

The Probe, R - There is trouble between Azazel and Riptide. Emma forces Azazel to submit to a memory probe so she can determine what's going on and how to get the Hellfire Club functioning again

Riptide in Eight Acts, NC-17 – Riptide’s life, summarized in eight acts.

Mouthing Off, R - Angel Salvadore tells us what her life is like working for Shaw, and she observes Azazel and Riptide.

And finally, miscellaneous Azazel/Riptide writings: (Or, how does 15 minutes of movie footage possibly lead to so much writing??)

- "Right Where I Want Him", halfway between crack and smut, written for a fanfic exchange

X-MEN: THE ANIMATED SERIES

I have my favorites to write about in XTAS. Most of my fics are going to feature Romy, Rolo, Jott, and all except one have Bobby/Jean Paul. Jubilee and Hank usually play prominent roles in my XTAS fics too.

This category I will break down into shorter fics, longer fics, and the trilogy. Within the categories the fics are listed from most recent to oldest.

Shorter Stories

Pride - Jean Paul and Bobby, along with several other X-men, go to Pride Day.

Set Them Free - Rogue decides to face the reality of her relationship with Gambit. She can't touch him. Isn't it time to let him go so he can find someone else? Note: Of all my fics, this one has been favorited more than any on fanfiction.net. Three years after it was posted, it still gets a bucketload of hits too.

Longer Stories

Election Day - This one was inspired by the XTAS episode “Sanctuary”, and it expands on it. Cortez has taken over Asteroid M and is trying to rally mutants to fight against all humanity. Cortez allows the X-men on board the space station and calls for an election to see who can best represent the wishes of all mutants. Rogue narrates this one; major Romy in here. Also we’ll see RoLo, a little Jott, and a hint of Bobby/JP.

My Year of the Tiger - This one is fairly short but it does have multiple chapters so I'll group it with the longer ones. The X-men have had a very difficult year and Jubilee blogs about it. Shades of Romy, RoLo, Jott, and a pairing I haven't written before.

Captive Hearts - The X-men are imprisoned, not by FOH but by a "kinder" government that is being pressured to keep mutants off the streets. The male X-men are separated from the women on their team, which is causing much angst. Romy, Jott, RoLo, Bobby/JP, and Carly/Hank

Parallels - X-men must fight back as a team, as FOH grows very powerful. Lots of pairings: eventual Iceman/Northstar, Storm/Wolverine, plus Rogue/Gambit and even some Jean/Cyclops. This fic is a something of re-write of my longer, original trilogy (below) “X-men: Friends of Humanity”. Well, maybe not a re-write and more like just a different take on similar circumstance.

The Trilogy

My first X-men fanfic and one long mothership of a fanfic. (The whole trilogy is over 733,000 words – and that’s not a typo). Warning, some references to rape and other violence, and also some explicit sex.

X-men: Friends of Humanity - First book in the trilogy where the X-men must again deal with a world in which FOH has taken over and mutants are being hunted down. Same pairings as usual for me.

Freedom - Second book in the trilogy

The Heavens Open - The conclusion of the trilogy.
