I don't know that I could buy the meal of someone who called me an anti-anything slur. I mean, I can see the reason why, and it was a bold move, but I'm not sure I could be the bigger person.
re: the optimistic leftist, I think I feel the same as you after reading these points - interesting but not totally convinced.
