stormkeeper_lovedoris I really have gotten out of the habit of doing 3 Things. I'm not sure what that means, but I have some time now so here goes. I will use my new rule of not repeating anything from the last 3 entries.
1. Well, my boss had tickets to this big breakfast at The Palmer House; it's a big to-do, the mayor of Chicago was there. I got to shake his hand. It was good for several reasons. In fact, heck, let's just make this the 3 Things list for today....
a. ran into former coworkers Kathi, Audrey, and Rich who I hadn't seen for ages. And I like all 3 of them a lot. Kathi and I made lunch plans
b. our mayor had some good stuff to talk about, like a new manufacturing facility in Chicago which will make solar panels and employ disadvantaged people
c. and the fact that I get to go to something like this, that I have such a great boss to invite me
