I swear someday I'll get into some semblance of doing these every other day. Or most days/week.
1. Grocery shopping during my lunch break (I worked from home today) at my coop, they asked me if I'd consider serving on the board. I told them I can't as I'm too busy with the local Dems but it was very nice that they thought of me.
2. I've read several times that civic engagement in the US is way down. I hardly know anyone who volunteers regularly or is otherwise civically-engaged (outside of the people I know through the Dems, the food pantry, the coop, or the LGBT group....) So I am thankful that despite being an introvert, I am fairly involved locally and that I've found ways to do it without having to get too far outside introverted-ness.
3. Lunch on Sunday with Chris and Heather was a lot of fun! I am so grateful that they're always willing to go to a vegan restaurant even though they aren't vegans. (And....they loved the place!)
