You know, you're right. I don't have to feel guilty for wanting this.
As for feedback on other fics, it's a mixed bag. Some fics have a ton of comments, others are like mine in terms of comments. :) Definitely it seems like AUs (which I don't write) are popular. As for my OTP specifically, they are such minor characters that there are very, very few fics which focus on them. So....looks like you just helped me answer the question. I'm writing a genre that most fans don't like (canon-compliant, not an AU) about characters who most folks aren't that in to. :)
