Totally agree, 1998 was the stone ages and so much progress has happened since then. Alessandro does look lovely done up in a dress and makeup and jewelry. :) And I'm gonna officially say that since he's played a queer character more than once and since he's an educated guy who lives in Vancouver who also sings and composes music and does theater that he is not homophobic. (But who knows? I guess he still might be. But probably not, I mean he's working in the arts a lot. Oooh and I guess he played a character named L in Death Note and has said that L could be queer, which is what a lot of fans wanted.)
