You know, about the cosplay....I really really want to do it. And also to consider:
- I am a middle-aged woman, so no one is going to look at me or care what I wear - Before I went to the 100 con, I told a friend I wanted to wear a dress. She told me not to do it. I packed one anyway, wore it the second day, and got a ton of compliments. The dress code there was pretty much anything goes. I realize anime is different, but still. At least what I see on social media makes me think this is a pretty relaxed group. - Also Raven is pretty easy to cosplay. I am working on getting a red bomber jacket since that what she wears. She has a long ponytail so I bought a clip-on. The rest of her usual outfit is neutral colored pants and a button down shirt and boots and a belt.
I do believe they warned there might be an extra cost for autographs. I will check it out beforehand, but that's fine with me. The weekend pass I bought was pretty cheap - just $35. (Which also makes me think for sure there's an additional cost to line up and get time with any of the "the talent").
