That election was crazy-good for the Dems. I think it was something like the best performance by the party in power in more than 20 years.
As for the job, that particular project I am not on though perhaps I might be asked to support my boss on it, which would be great. I hope so. Actually, in 2023...my boss is going on sabbatical and another teammate is going on maternity leave. There's only 4 of us on this team! So, uh, I don't think they'll lay me off in 2023 :)
