- So many nice acknowledgements of my birthday. Apart from the girls' trip last weekend....brunch with Doris, flowers from the game night gang, donation and eye shadow from Tina, more than 1 Sachin Cameo, one coworker sent bath and body gifts, another coworker sent a Sweet Green gift card, and my boss said she'll give me my gift when she sees me in person. Fandom friend Mia wrote me a Mackson fic.
- Nice phone call with Pam last week. She's in good spirits. (I sound like each one of my 50 years when I write "she's in good spirits")
- With Mercy For Animals, we're planning demonstrations at various TGI Fridays to get them to stick to their chicken welfare commitments. Apparently just the threat of demonstrations has gotten the restaurant chain to sit down and talk with MFA
Various fandom stuff:
- One of my fics is at 290 kudos. I do think it will hit the 300 mark in a few weeks or possibly a few months. Will be just my 2nd fic to do so!
- Someone said they loved my tags and summary on a fic
- And got a great comment on an old X-men fic; someone said they've been searching for a while for it!
- Loving doing Review Exchanges on Reddit
