Fashion help requested! Do the colors go together?

So, next week I'm going back to work and this morning I spent some time going through my closet. I bought these two pieces separately. Do the colors go together? I'm terrible at this sort of thing, which is why I don't often buy separates.

i agree completely with ninamonkey. add some grey to your top half and it should work out just fine : )
