A few quick things

It's so nice that LJ is working again.
Just wanted to let you all know that I'll not have a computer for a day and a half. I'm leaving mid-day today for Vegas and not returning till late late on Thursday night. I didn't feel like lugging my computer through the airport for such a short trip, but I'll miss you all!
Also, I wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow is the Poised for Success benefit at Fair Indigo -- please read on below!
I volunteer with Poised for Success, an organization that aims to provide economic self-sufficiency for women by providing business attire to those who cannot afford it. I'm also a customer of Fair Indigo, a clothing company that is sweatshop-free -- unlike virtually all clothing retailers, Fair Indigo's clothes were made by people making fair wages.
Fair Indigo is doing a "summer of love" campaign where, on certain days, they'll donate a percentage of their sales to different not-for-profits nominated by customers. I nominated Poised for Success, and they picked Poised and picked July 26 as the date!
So, on July 26, if you go to Fair Indigo's site (or place a phone order at 800-520-1806) and if you mention the promo code "LOVE", then 25% of sales will be donated to Poised for Success! They operate on a shoe-string and can really use the support from this campaign. Thanks for considering it!
